attitude to
breastfeeding, durating of breasfeeding, and problems during breastfeeding practice.
The researches were analyzed statistically in the way of the frequency, percentage, X2-test, ad t-test.
The frequency and percentage, were applied to compare the general tendencies and problems in brestfeeding duration between the two groups. The x2-tes was applied to present the significant difference between tho two groups in general tendencies
and
attitude to breastfeeding in pregnancy, and t-test was about the amount of information of breastfeeding in pregnant, sate, attitude, duration, and problems of breastfeeding practice.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. There were no significant difference in general tendencies, the attitude of breastfeeding and the knowledge of reastfeeding before education between experimental group and control group.
This result means the two groups were about the same.
2. Experimental group's total score of attitude to breasfeeding was higher than that of control group (t=2.44, p<.01 Especially, there were significant differences in the plan of breastfeeding next baby (t=2.03, p<.05) and advising other mother
to
do
breastfeeding (t=2.44, p<.01) between the tow groups. This result means experimental group mothers' attitude toward breastfeeding was positive.
3. The average length of exclusive breastfeeding practice in experimental group was 3.7weeks and that of control group was 2.1 weeks, that is, there were significant difference in total breastfeeding score between the two groups (t=2.42, p<.05).
This
result means education of breastfeeding in the first postpartum day was effective.
4. Total problems during breastfeeding were 117 in experimental group, and 173 in control group. Mothers in control group have more preblems than mothers in experimental group.
5. Mother's average score of problems during breastfeeding in experimental group was 3, and 4 in contol group. There was significant difference between the two groups(t=2.98, p<.01).
This result means educated mothers on breastfeeding have ability to solve the poblems when they happens.
